Dr. Xiaogang LiuWuhan University of Technology

Brief introduction

Dr. Xiaogang Liu acquired his PhD degree from the University of Queensland and currently is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology. He has chaired two scientific research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has been serving the academic community by reviewing papers for some SCI journals, including Wear, Journal of Sound and Vibration, Measurement, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, Tribology International etc. He was recognized as Fellow of Higher Education Academy in 2018. His academic achievements include academic papers, invention patents and software copyrights in the research topics of Contact Mechanics, Intelligent Manufacturing, Mechanical Vibration and Electromechanical Control etc, and he was recognized as Senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society in 2021. As an acknowledgement to his academic contribution, he was awarded the “T A Stewart-Dyer Prize/Frederick Harvey Trevithick Prize” by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in London.

Prof. Yajun LiuSouth China University of Technology

Brief introduction

Prof. Yajun Liu was born on September 20, 1974 in Jiangxi, China. Native speaker of Chinese, fluent in English. His Education and Academic Research Experiences is as follows:

December, 2016- Now Professor in South China University of Technology School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.

December, 2009- December, 2010. Visiting Professor in Fluid Power Research Center (FPRC) Purdue University at West Lafayette, USA.

Feb, 2005 – July, 2016. Post-doctoral Research Fellow, Tokheim JV company in China.

June, 2002 Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering. South China University of Technology, Guangzhou,China.

His research interests include Digital signal processing technology and its application in mechanical systems (such as hydraulic System for Energy Saving.); Intelligence control and Manufacturing

Engineering. Moreover, Prof. Yajun Liu has published more than 150+ papers in Journals and proceedings of international conferences. 35 +patents on Mechanical System design and manufacturing.

Assoc. Prof. Guanglei Wu, Dalian University of Technology

Brief introduction

Dr. Guanglei Wu received his PhD in robotics from Aalborg University, Denmark, 2013, and and worked as an industrial Postdoc fellow in Aalborg University from 2014 to 2016. He was a visiting scholar in the Research Institute in Communications and Cybernetics of Nantes (IRCCyN, currently reorganized as Laboratory of Digital Sciences of Nantes-LS2N) in June-July 2012, in McGill University in Aug. 2015, and in Aarhus University in 2020. Currently, he is an associate professor in School of Mechanical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology (DUT). His research interests include robotic technology, conceptual design and performance evaluation of robots, robot dynamics and control, industrial robots and their applications. He has published one monography by Springer, 9 patents, and over 80 peer-reviewed articles in international journals and conferences. He was the awardee of DUT Xinhai 1000 Youth Talent program, IFToMM Asian MMS & CCMMS 2016, Dept. Sci. Tech. Liaoning province, Longcheng Talent program by Changzhou Municipality. He is the referee for over 50 international journals and conferences in the fields of mechanisms and robots.

Prof. Bing Wang, Fuzhou University

Brief introduction

Bing Wang, a Postdoctoral researcher from University of Cambridge, with a PhD from University of Hull.  He is now working at School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University, as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor.  He is also a High-level Oversea Talent in Fujian Province, a Doctoral Thesis Reviewer for the Degree Centre of the Ministry of Education, Committee Member forAdvanced Structural Materials, Life Member of Clare Hall Cambridge, Senior Member of both Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and Chinese Society for Composite Materials.  Bing is a Topic Editor and Guest Editor for Materials, Guest Editor for Advances in Mechanical Engineering, Youth Editor for Journal of Fuzhou University, and recognised peer-reviewer for more than twenty international journals.  His main research direction is focused on Smart Materials and Structures, Composite Mechanics, Non-destructive testing & Evaluation, as well as Deployable Structures.
